MEET THE TEAM
Handpicked started with me, Heather. I am a lifelong lover of preloved shopping with a slightly obsessive eye for fabrics, quality and style. I set up the shop to be the kind of place I always wanted to shop in myself. I still guide the rails and keep everything curated, but I could not do it alone.
Now we are a small but mighty team. From welcoming you in store to carefully preparing each piece, everyone plays their part in keeping Handpicked running smoothly, always with a smile and a shared love for preloved.
HOLLY
TEAM MEMBER
You’ll usually find Holly on the shop floor, welcoming customers or sharing her favourite Handpicked finds in our Facebook group. She joined the team in 2024 and quickly became our resident magpie, unable to resist swooping in on the shiniest statement pieces the moment they land in the shop
OLIVIA
TEAM MEMBER
Olivia is our behind-the-scenes superstar. With a keen eye for detail, she makes sure every piece is checked, steamed and ready to hit the rails in tip-top condition. She also looks after much of the admin — from preparing stock, to listing items online, to managing returns — keeping everything flowing beautifully from drop-off to display. And every so often you’ll spot her on the shop floor too, making sure everything looks just right
ROB
NON-OFFICAL TEAM MEMBER
Rob might be our unofficial team member, but Handpicked truly would not be here without him. By trade, he is a process scientist, but behind the scenes he has poured hours and hours into helping Heather build the shop into what it is today. From shop cover to handyman jobs, endless support and a lot of coffee making, Rob is a huge part of Handpicked and a firm favourite with our customers.
