Based in Penrith, Cumbria, we are a small independent shop helping women buy and sell preloved clothing with confidence. We opened in 2022 for the local community in Penrith, the Lake District and beyond, with the aim of creating a relaxed, welcoming space for everyday secondhand shopping.

Handpicked Preloved is built on the traditional dress agency and consignment model, but with a more modern approach. We focus on casual, wearable daily clothing that fits into real life. Pieces you can throw on, live in, and come back to again and again. Comfortable, well made clothing in quality fabrics, chosen for how it looks, feels and wears.
