Heather here. I am the owner of Handpicked and a self-confessed preloved shopping addict. I have always loved the thrill of finding something unique, but I will be honest… the online scrolling, the endless guessing, the waiting for parcels to arrive was never my idea of fun.
And the high street was not much better. Charity shops are great for a rummage, but I wanted rails of everyday clothes that felt current, stylish and easy to wear. As I have got older, I have also learned how much difference good fabrics and well-made pieces make. Clothes that feel lovely on, last longer, and never go out of style.
THE BEGINNING
So, when I could not find it, I set it up myself. That is how Handpicked was born, a little shop in Penrith where every piece is chosen with care. From natural fabrics to timeless styles, the rails are filled with clothes you will want to reach for every day.
The beauty of preloved is that it is always changing. No two days in the shop ever look the same. New pieces arrive daily, and each one has its own little story to tell. That is what makes Handpicked feel exciting, you never know what you will discover.
